Paradise Palms Golf Course, Clifton Beach (nth of Cairns)
An exhibition with 5 other artists (ceramics, sculpture, pastels, lino block), my artwork is featured in the textile cateory.




The Atrium Gallery is an open space with a spectacular view over the Paradise Palms Golf Course, my artwork is in the well-lit 3D enclosure, with the beautiful handpainted silk coat/kimono suspended from the ceiling.

A painting depicting Double Island off the coast of Cairns, is displayed on an artist's easel, and two vibrant silk-over-canvas paintings are shown on white display boxes. The koala painting is also suspended from the ceiling at the other end of the glass space, drawing the eye to the bright colours. The room divider with 3 handpainted silk panels is located at the foot of the 2 sets of stairs, which grabs the eye as one descends to the gallery. The silk inserts will be changed over every few weeks, to add a new dimension of bright colour.
